Contemporary Romances

You Are on the Air Series

Fourteen Christian authors and I joined together to write in the You Are on the Air series as a fun writing project. The idea I presented to the authors is that somewhere in each of our stories, at least one character would call into a radio station for Christian relationship or dating advice from a live, on the air personality.
To make it even more engaging, we decided to write one book for each of the letters in the alphabet. These will not release in alphabetical order, to keep it fun for the reader to see which letter is being released next. We hope you’ll want to collect every book in the series! We are having a blast behind the scenes.

For Reese, it’s love at first sight. As far as Calliope is concerned, it’s one more risk that she’s afraid to take. Can he build her confidence enough to accept his love?

Calliope Schmidt loves her hometown of Frankenmuth, Michigan-- a German American town that keeps the holiday alive all year long. She is even content with her job as a classroom aide.

That is, until the teacher collapses. The new principal offers Calliope the chance to be the real teacher—the role she’d already been playing for the students. The handsome, intimidating man thinks she can do it. He’ll even mentor her.

Voices from the past say that he’s wrong. She’ll fail. She always fails. Whose voice will she allow to sway her? Will she be ready to accept the surprise her gorgeous boss springs on her?

Brighten your holiday season with this sweet Christmas happily ever after.

Rosella doesn't trust men or God. Kyle determines to change that in this sweet contemporary romance.

Dr. Rosella Kroger has a busy veterinary practice and a disabled sister. Still, when she meets the new rancher in town, she starts a relationship with Kyle Laub.

When he meets the town’s vet, Kyle believes she is the woman meant for him. He is a strong believer while Rosella struggles to believe in a loving god after her sister is permanently injured.

Will this be a stumbling block in this whirlwind courtship? With one disrupted date after another, is there any hope for their relationship?

Will their dates bring an end to their romance before Rosella has a chance to learn the difference between love and attraction?
If you enjoy bonnet-wearing piggies and a flock of silly chickens, this book is for you.

Empty-nester gone wild? Why should a handicap stop this thirty-something heroine?

Will attempting the adventures on Faye's risk list end in love or a broken body and heart? Can those risks compare with the fun of disastrous dates and the attention of the gorgeous youth pastor?

Join her while she attempts to live her life to the fullest, helped along by the man who has captured her heart.

If you want to laugh and if you enjoy a tender romance with a guaranteed happily-ever-after, grab a copy and sink into a handy chair. You're in for fun!

Ornamental Matchmakers

This is a multi-author series. I have both a historical and contemporary story in this series.8ge

A hula dancer—seriously? And blonde to boot! Why did someone send JT Kirkwood a hula dancer ornament?

This was July, not even close to December and the season for a Christmas tree. The note promised that the dancer was real and waiting for him. No matter how ridiculous this seemed, JT looked at the ornament and felt compelled to find the woman mentioned in the note. Too bad his father’s accident prevents him from looking.

A luau—seriously? With their town of Oak Grove hit by layoffs, why did Bonnie Miller’s mother insist that they throw a city-wide party at the small strip mall that housed Bonnie’s restaurant? Still, her mother had fantastic insight into what the public wanted, so Bonnie went along with it. She even danced the hula for the crowd, and saw the man of her dreams watching. Serenaded by Elvis, this couple easily falls in love. But is love at first sight enough to overcome the distance that separates the couple when JT has to return to his job in another town far from Oak Grove?

He loves his home and job, but Bonnie is fiercely loyal to hers as well. Mrs. Claus is discovering that not even the magic of a compelling ornament or the lyrical sounds of Elvis will be enough to bring about this couple’s happily ever. Which one will compromise? Will each say Aloha--meaning goodbye?
